I just want to share some thoughts of my personal favourite games from the past. And ask some questions. So, where do I even start?

To clarify: it's a long text and you ought to only read it if you have ever owned and played on PS3 :)

Anyone remembers good old games from PS3? Resistance series? MotorStorm? LittleBigPlanet? Man, these games will forever be in my heart! I hope they will not be forgotten at lest by the biggest fans like me. They were one of the greatest experiences I have had in my life! I wish they came out on PC. So many good memories ;') Let me know what do you think about them :) Also, do you know any other games (on PC) that are similar to these mentioned above? Any Resistance, MotorStorm or LBP- type of games? I haven't searched in the Web so I hope anyone here heard about something and is able to share it with me :)

I never had too many fond memories of PS3, although I've had plenty for PS2 and 1. I do have to say, however, I did enjoy The Last of Us on the PS3

People getting nostalgic about consoles, that are so new, that I haven't even played on them...
I must be even older than I feel right now.

I think, the latest things, I got my hands on were Gamecube, Dreamcast and PS2.

InFAMOUS 1 and 2 get me nostalgic as hell. InFAMOUS was one of the first PS3 games I owned, still love the series.

Man, I have some good memories with Little Big Planet. That was my first game I ever played, it shaped my childhood and my life today. It sucks that the community kinda died and the 3rd game ruined any chance of another to come. Little Big Planet will always have a special place in my heart.

Mostly us young 'uns who have been gaming all their life, but unfortunately their life hasn't been long enough to experience everything. I do occasionally miss playing a game or two on my old PS3, and I was born right around when the PS2 era was coming to a close and the PS3 was in the works.

EDIT: For a large majority of younger gamers, it's their gateway into the hobby.

"Generations" don't mean much on PC. I've been playing PS3-era games not too long ago, I might be playing PS3-era games in the future (I don't pay much attention to this when selecting games), and I've recently purchased a remake of a PS2 game.

Skyrim is a PS3 game, and it's still alive today. Not super alive, but alive nontheless. I can't think of any other games (aside from the perennial Minecraft) that's stayed alive for so long and is on so many different systems.
