oh it's not just Minecraft but other properties also in joining Hollywood soon. They're making a full length feature movie based on Tetris, Rabbids, Call of Duty cinematic universe (will be attached to a big movie distributor), Mortal Kombat reboot, Resident Evil reboot plus TV show spin offs, Mega Man, Metal Gear, Splinter Cell, Monster Hunter, Borderlands, Five Nights at Freddy's, Gears of War, Spongebob, Angry Birds and another Assassin's Creeds and Tomb Raider with lower budget.
Jason Momoa is in talks with Just Cause movie to play Rico Rodriguez
Call of Duty? I don't know, man. When Activision's film division (it's a thing now) announced they're planning to launch a COD Cinematic Universe that will kinda be inspired by the MCU, I found it very skeptical. Most of the cinematic universes like the DCEU (it's slowly improving though), The Dark Universe (starting with Tom Cruise's The Mummy film) and Transformers have failed spectacularly bcoz they were badly rushed, just to compete with successful universes such as Marvel or even MonsterVerse. That's why I have a bad feeling about the COD movies, they already hired a writer for their COD 2 film. The very first film is not even in production yet. Lol
Just Cause? Just hire Michael Bay and we could have a ridiculously dumb but fun action video game film, filled with explosions!
