We all have nostalgia for the old Sonic games but be serious, the story lines in the 3D games were blatantly aimed at young children and the movie looks like it is too so getting mad over it seems very silly to me.
It looks crap so i won't watch it, it isn't hard to avoid watching things you don't like.

I'd say it tried to appeal more to teenagers, with Shadow the Hedgehog being a thing and stories that actually tried to take themselves seriously, before Colors came to existence and story became absolute 0. I miss that era...

Yeah true with the Shadow game, that game is edgy edge McEdge the game.
