Suggest me an anime.

I was watching a random anime this morning until I realized how much I hate the forced cutesy and comedy in most anime nowadays.What would you recommend for anime that take itself seriously but not too cheesy?
I liked Evangelion, Re;Zero, Steins;Gate and 91 Days.

Love, death, and robots is amazing. It's the best of animation and science fiction storytelling. The one on the station. The one in world war II. The one with the farmers.

So freaking good. I think I've watched the entirety of it about five or six times. Certain episodes more than that.
