Well if you can go for the ti, go for it :lunar2019piginablanket:

If you are looking at UltraHD 4K, then yes.

I would highly recommend the RTX 2080 Ti as a single graphics card juicing an Acer Predator X27 (UltraHD 4K, IPS Panel, 144Hz, HDR and G-SYNC), for example, without needing to go SLI (multiple graphic cards).

If you can't afford a monitor like that, then no it's not worth getting the RTX 2080 Ti. It would be a waste and you should be considering 1440Hz or 1600Hz resolution at 165Hz G-SYNC with the RTX 2070 or 2080 instead.

ps: I still don't like you, but at least you are creating meaningful topics now. I can respect that.

It's not even worth it over the last generation.

For Nvidia, on average the Ti models are approx 10-15% more performance increase.

However, for the RTX 2080 Ti, it's a whopping 35% performance increase overall over the standard RTX 2080 (or GTX 1080 Ti).

It just comes down to the price tag vs your needs.

It depends on what you need or high resolution, then 2080 Ti, and if the resolution is not important, then take 2080

If you want Ultra 4K or 55-60 FPS with Ray-Tracing, then go for it.

If you just want a simple 60 FPS Ultra on a 1080p Screen then the 2060 will do just fine.

Basically.

2060 = 60 FPS Ultra 1080p

2070 = 60 FPS 1440p

2080 = 60 FPS 4K

2080 TI = 60 FPS Ultra 4K + Ray-Tracing.

For 4K resolution yes, for lower resolutions no.
Well if you like big TIs, then the TI is for you. If you really want to rock a big set of cans, then run a pair of TIs in SLI

You guys do realize that a 2080ti will just last you even longer as a gpu if you don't even care about 4k, right?
Like, if you don't care about running games at 4k, it's still gonna be a really great gpu for a really long time

Yeah, the same 4K gaming that cant get over 60FPS and is about to in the next 5 years get trumped by 8K or whatever they decide to call it. Your trying to appeal to common sense, a commodity thats short in supply these days.

Only if your cpu doesnt bottleneck 2080ti
