Indeed, although Witcher is a western style RPG.

As for your OP, its hard to answer. I'm super hyped for RDR2 but I had heaps of fun with Sekiro, planning to buy FF, Sekiro and Yakuza some time soon.

But I'll give this one to Western, I really look forward to RDR2.

The stories in The Witcher are from Eastern folklore while the gameplay is more similar to a Souls games which is a Japanese franchise.
So you did not refer to Asian cultures specifically when you'd categorised it as Eastern?

No, I was also referring to the East-Central European zone but The Witcher features aspects from both Western and Eastern role-playing games but the folklore is Eastern European.

What is difference in western and eastern if they both come in Europe ?

Eastern European games are more likely to have folklore, political or social concepts or ideas from Eastern European culture, the Metro games feature a communist faction while The Witcher features Eastern Folklore while Western European games as such as Rockstar North and Rebellion often focus on traditional Western stories and culture which is also from US culture.
The Fallout games have communist factions too if I remember correctly. There is a lot of Eastern Folklore used in "The Secret World", but the devs are Norwegian. The game "Generation Zero" by Avalanche Studios takes place in Sweden while Just Cause by the same creators is South American-ish.

It's kinda obvious that devs from a certain country or region use stuff they know and see from around their parts instead of working with something from an entirely different and possibly "unknown" area. But if they are knowledgeable enough they might also make a game that at first look isn't too much based around "their" home. The folklore inspirations aside The Witcher is still closer to WRPGs like Skyrim than to JRPGs like Final Fantasy.

Yakuza alone would carry the eastern side.

Also RE and DMC.

Poland and it's games aren't 'eastern' in a gaming context. Heck Poland isn't really considered eastern in a european context either, certainly not since the Cold War ended. You might as well include games from Norfolk and Suffolk, they're eastern too if you're going to have such an unfocused definition of 'east'.

Anyway.... I prefer western games (although the examples you chose aren't great), I haven't enjoyed a ♥♥♥ game since the 16 bit era.

Eastern, western, as long as it's good, it doesn't matter which part of the world it's from. I enjoyed the Shadowrun games just as much as the "The legend of heroes - Trails in the sky games" They're both turn-based RPGs but can't be compared, because they're vastly different in terms of storytelling tone, setting, gameplay.... It's difficult to compare games when the gameplay and storytelling are different. For example, it's impossible to compare XCOM wth Valkyria Chronicles.

At best, what can be compared are games from the same genre and match in many features, like f.e. Tyrian 2000 (western) and the Raiden series (eastern). Good luck comparing, let's say, GTA games to the "Tales of Symphonia/Berseria/Xillia" series.

When I tried Breath of the wild I felt like I was playing a GTA game (I have played only Vice City so that was the one I was thinking about) without references to crime and random people mindless beating (except the fact that after more than ten years the effect was completely different and really disappointing)

Red Dead Redemption 2: Buggy af at launch on PC
Call of Duty: Milked. DLC fest. MTX all over the place
Halo: Only liked the first two. Rest is okish.
The Elder Scrolls: Boring and milked to death with Skyrim everywhere
Fallout: 1 & 2 were great. The FPS ones soso. 76 is what defines gaming these days: Not good

The Witcher: Since when is this eastern? Does it lay in Asia? Franchise is overhyped
Final Fantasy: For me the best franchise. However, everything after FF 12 is bad
Metal Gear Solid: Only played the first back in days so I can't comment
Sekiro: Game too young to make a statement
Yakuza: Never played it.

The key word being "feeling". At best, you can make a subjective observation. Objective comparison can f.e. be made between Mortal Kombat and Guilty Gear.
Shadow of the Colossus has a vast world, but that hardly makes it comparable to Red Dead Redemption. Because the game puts entirely different challenges in front of the player and the gameplay couldn't be further apart. What people like in a game or not is not the same as what is objectively good or bad about them.

I prefer western games. Aren't that many decent space games coming out of the east that don't involve mecha.
Everybody.
