Why is the Windows 10 XBOX app tracking all my Steam games?
Why?

So that it can tell your non-existent Xbox friends what you're playing at the moment.

Uninstall it, unless it's the Xbox Game Bar apps that cannot be uninstalled.

ive already done that and it will just get reinstalled

plus i think it has to be used for sign on of store apps

i tried removing the steam games from the app too but its a circle jerk

microsoft wants to track everything you do so they can sell your data, that was the whole reason for pushing spyware 10 (win 10), less control, more data collection, advertising and profits.

linux is great, but its not game viable, maybe when it becomes standard that game devs start being linux compatible then it will be good for gaming.

lets not also forget that linux isnt user friendly and has nothing comparable to windows as a user experience... yet.

UNLESS that particular module has been removed from Windows.

it will just reinstall itself

Oh it's possible alright.

It isn't not on my computer, and it hasn't been since I removed the module.

Microsoft Store will reinstall it

the only way to get rid if it

is by operating in a non-microsoft account

If you say so. It took me less than 15 minutes to remove both modules (and several others that were just taking up space) - including the time I spent watching the YouTube 'how to' video.

why would you have to that?

i cannot believe that you would trouble yourself with that

instead of just using a non-microsoft account
