You're making an awful lot of assumptions that I don't feel the desire nor the obligation to address. You said "you're suggesting without these elements music cannot be good".
This despite the fact that I had previously said:
And
Which was later extrapolated to:
Which.....
....was the entire freaking point of this thread. Notice the title is a question, not a statement.
I will re-word the question at issue for the third time.
Why is SUCH A LARGE % of rap music so vulgar as compared to other genre of music?
I'm not saying all rap is vulgar, but I am absolutely saying that the rap genre is far more proliferated with vulgarity than other types of music.
The question was why. Why do people demand such vulgarity from rap but no other genre?
Yup, and these were late posts. It took a while to get there.
What we had here was a failure to communicate. I am partially to blame for this.
No munitions were spent. I think the dog got excited, though.
I will say however that I think some older rap artists like Tupac and Eminem are alright. The newer guys like Post Malone I see absolutely no appeal in whatsoever, I feel like I'm missing something. Not everyone has the same tastes though.

It should go without saying that rap is not inherently vulgar, it's just what the market wants so it's what the market gets.
There are rappers who don't rely on vulgar content to move records, but you just have to look for them.
