Perhaps. But man, it's like all I ever hear of the genre.
I'm sure there's rap music that's reasonably good somewhere, but that's not what fans of the genre seem to appreciate.
Well here's some rap that isn't as mainstream.

Strangely enough, I'm trying so hard to not pull out the B word even though its obvious because I dont want to get flagged as racist for some reason.
Generally I think vulgarity is used by rappers who actually rhyme to enhance what they mean and give it a harsher tone (Eminem and many horror core rappers being a perfect example of this)
Plus, literally ever musical genre with lyrics generally has what many would consider vulgarities of some sort, whether it be swear words, sexual lyrics and undertones, violence, etc.
And if you paid any attention to rap as a genre you'd see that it doesn't rely on vulgarity. At least, artists that put a decent amount of effort into their lyrics don't rely on vulgarity.
Because that's what appeals to those people. You're getting dangerously close to elitist levels.
The Fajita only knows no Danish so it would be pointless.
It doesn't. The garbage trap music that is played on the radio does not represent the entire genre.
This song is a rap in case ppl don't know.
Here's what I did: I clicked through at 7 random spots, and sampled for a few seconds each. Here's what I hear: the same note (not even chords) progression, repeated, endlessly.
Do the same thing to this song, and you'll swear it's a few different songs:

That's called musical progression. You have to understand actual music to be able to write like that, though. There's actually quite a bit of complexity involved.
Perhaps not but has it even so thoroughly proliferated a genre like this?
