No, it's likely a generic game where you play a soldier, which in case you not really call of duty anymore because every modern soldier in the free world are hired by contract and not called to a duty. I'm glad they are going back, I never complained about the modern warfare games.
Actually no, the first modern warfare game is called, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, because it was the 4th CoD game.
After that its modern warfare 2 and 3. There is no just "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" game.
But this on the other hand, this kinda sounds lazy, unless if it's a soft reboot. Maybe they should named it "Microtransactions Warfare 4", since you know, Activi$ion.
Oh well. Good for Activision/Blizzard. I've plenty of reasons never to support them in any way shape/form so this doesn't particularly matter to me on a personal level.
