Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled (PC release)

Hello Steam community!

I want your thoughts on the likelihood of a PC release (preferably Steam) of the upcoming CTR:NF game. The game is set for a June 2019 release on PS4, Switch and Xbone with no mention of PC.

If we rewind a little, the previous Crash Bandicoot remaster, the N-Sane Trilogy, was released on PC separately exactly 1 year after the console versions.

Both the N-Sane Trilogy and Nitro-Fueled remasters are published by Activision, leading me to believe that CTR:NF will also release on Steam, similarly to N-Sane Trilogy, 1 year after the console release, meaning it would land in June 2020. I'll definitely wait until 2020 regardless because I'm not double-dipping.

Do you have any insider news which would suggest reasons either for or against the PC release?

I agree with you, don't get me wrong. I'm not saying microtransactions are a beaultiful thing. I just disagree with some points:

- If someone wants to spend their money with "virtual coins", that's not necessarily a problem. An individual needs to know what is better for himself. If that means to spend money because they can't control themselves, that's not my problem, it's an individual problem that he needs to know how to deal with. I really don't understand how one thing relates to the other one. You can agree with the franchises, support other games from Activision, but can be specifically against the microtransactions. You're not seeing how to separate both things, at least that's what I'm noticing through your comments.

I do agree that if someone spends a lot of money on microtransactions, that is a personal problem, the issue I take with companies implementing them is that said problems are what they want to take advantage of, and make worse, to make money from people with them. It's not a life threatening thing, but it's scummy as hell nonetheless. I don't have major issues with cosmetic only microtransactions, in most cases, it's more the lying and disrespect in this specific case.

I do kinda agree, but I'd rather simply not support the company than support them and not spend money on the microtransactions. I can see how an inability to separate them would come across, but that's not how I intended it. Separating them is easy, they're just one part of many things companies like Activision do that I refuse to support, so they just add to the bigger picture of it, or do in this case at least.

The video is a good watch to be honest. A lot of stuff I personally wasn't aware of until after watching it that has me unwilling to give EA or Activision a single cent until they pull their heads out of their arses. Sure, I'm only one person, but every little bit helps I guess. XD

Yeah, I agree with the lies and disrespect from Activision, I personally don't like it either. I wouldn't stop buying their games, tho, I think there's more productive ways to boycott them rather than stop buying their games, but that's just a personal opinion. If you don't want to buy anything from them because of the lies and disrespect, there's nothing I can complain about, it's your opinion and I respect it.
