I hated him (And he hated me). I was more under this car than in this car.
Besides bikes are better anyway, small, cheap, squeeze through traffic.
BMWs just catching fire all on their own prompted a massive recall recently.

lol
You mean that there's not many older cars that aren't collectible there? Yeah I understand that.
If you want a Truck, I have yet to see a major German Car maker produce a decent one, whereas Chevy and Ford here in the US Live and Breathe Trucks almost.
Also, American made cars tend to be more affordable than German made cars IMO. Of course a Mercedes or Audi is doing to be better than a Ford or a Chevy, but they cost much more usually, whereas a Good Ford or Chevy can be bought used for under 20K.
Another popular thing growing is the use of EV or Hybrid Cars (Dat EV and MPG tho), of which Tesla, an American Company, downright makes the best EV Cars in the World IMO, although they are expensive (40K is the lowest new ones go for), and they have to be made after you order one. Likewise, you also have other companies which make affordable and good Hybrid Cars, such as Ford's Fusion Line for instance.
To sum it all up though, I'd just say that Americans buy American cars because
1. We are also American
2. Imported Cars are more expensive
3. Trucks are commonly used Work Vehicles and you only ever see Chevy or Fords in that area.
4. Brand Recognition, some people like Ford and some like Chevy.
5. High Priced, Quality Made Foreign Cars, be they normal Sedans like a Mercedes or Sports Cars, are generally not needed and serve primarily as a status symbol.
German cars are mostly garbage and American muscle are the nice ones
I'll never buy a German car again. I only buy Japanese like Nissan,Toyota or Honda.
I don't know. Some teenager was doing 126 mph around a curve and smacked into a wall and his tesla batteries exploded and the car was a blaze. Killed him and his friend now the friends mom is suing tesla because the batteries exploding setting the car on fire. She is saying the batteries are defective.
