Get a 2.5 SSD.

It does not have a M.2 slot.

Thank you for your support :)
I'd recommend taking this to the hardware forum next time, by the way.

M.2 ssds connect via the M2 slots on motherboards, when checking the details of motherboards it will state if it has M2 slots, you would need to use an external ssd connected by usb, I can link you one that may be suitable for you https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/bCQRsY/adata-sd600-256gb-external-ssd-asd600-256gu31-cbk

£60.58 for a 256GB What?

An internal 2.5 SSD is way cheaper.

Would the heat from the laptop not affect an internal ssd in any way?
It is an İntel Core İ5 3210m with a Nvidia Geforce 610m 2 gb, :taloslol:.

True lol! Although Turkey is quite warm at times
I think the laptop would give out far sooner than the SSD.

If he got an external ssd he'd have go into bios and change to boot from usb anyway, which may or may not be an issue for him, though he can stick more games on the larger internal one which is cheaper
