Best fighting game for single player content?

What is the most single player packed fighting game.

I wanna buy a good fighting game, but buying any to rely on playing online is a bad idea because most are dead and the ones that aren't don't hold a lot of players anyway due to how niche the fighting game scene is.

What would be the most fun single player oriented game that's actually really good and fun to play?

Off my head; BlazBlue Central Fiction

It's got a few different modes you can play on and there's an "RPG lite" dungeon diving mode you can play. Wherein you choose you character and earn +Stats or Passive Abilities(Like Life Steal, Ignoring Guard, etc.).

It's what kept me interested in playing once the MP competitiveness died down.
