"At the request of the publisher, Game of Thrones - A Telltale Games Series is no longer available for sale on Steam."
I dunno, but it looks like they took it down for some reason.
What wasn't posted is that most titles went back to the original copyright holders allowing them to keep selling those titles. In the case of Game of Thrones the copyright owners don't have a game studio/publisher so they pulled the game. Same thing happened with all the Universal titles that Telltale made as Universal Studios doesn't have a game division anymore.
Damn, that's not great news for everyone that developed the game and for people that want to buy it because of renewed interest from the show.
That's why physical discs can be better because you can preserve games years later and they can become rare or expensive.
I thought there had to be some way. Thanks. I have it back now
Not always. I had this happen with Baldur's Gate II recently. They failed some kind of critical update and at the moment it's removed from the store completely including my downloads section and even order history. Still got my receipt and seriously considering just getting a refund if Beamdog don't update soon. It alarmed me to find stuff could just disappear from library with no warning. Not a feature I'm loving about the Play store, much as I usually love it.
Trust me, it is one of the worst Telltale games, EVAR.
