looking increasingly likely my earlier observations are valid, it's just the OP doesn't want to accept the outcome. the thing is the OP tried to attack me earlier on without having a clue in knowing anything about me, he assumed i'm some supporter, but the thing is that this happened to me long ago on another game.
i didn't cheat anything but got banned anyway because my brother decided to exploit and cheat through this game. the both of us got banned, i was annoyed, but once i calmed down and looked around on what i could do, i tried to appeal and it was unsuccessful, accepted it, moved on and forgot about it pretty quickly.
Just a correction for this.
You are thinking of local network IP Addresses and MAC addresses, which are unique per each PC. That's correct. However, the public IP Address (remote internet access) will be the same for all of those within that network, unless the Netcafe actually purchased multiple ISP (Internet Service Providers).
The Netcafe would have to prevent USB thumbsticks and various other external sources, plus block online access to download or copy and install cheats on any of their PCs in that network, as all of them would be affected by just one cheater. Now Netcafes normally have deep freeze or clone OS, so upon restarting the PC it ends up with a fresh clean OS each time... but during a random strangers session they can download, install, etc. If the IP Address gets banned by one stupid individual, the Netcafe would likely just remove and boycott the game completely from anyone playing it.
Saying that, is BF4DB even offical and tied in with the game, or is it a third party anti-cheat checker? Similar to how SteamRep.com is to Steam... people report scammers on that, with proof that is verified, but it's not actually part of Steam itself. It's just a reputation system, you can link into.
BF4DB is exactly the same as steamrep. it is not officially associated but uses publicly provided data.
You will get banned from their service. Not battlefield 4. And when they detect any other accounts with similar key information those will get banned to.
Again... Not banned from game, but they will Mark any punkbuster bans for cheating.
And there is a very simple solution. Don't cheat.
Lol? BF4DB is a third-party anti-cheat and shared ban database for Battlefield 4. If you don't like it then don't play on servers that use BF4DB. You have zero grounds for a lawsuit. That's like trying to sue someone because they won't invite you to boardgame night at their house.
Most servers use it stupidly enough.
How anyone with a brain can think overlapping IP's is a sound method for banning someone is moronic, there are many houses where more than one person plays video games, most families consist of 2.2 children and 2 adults, that means 4.2 people per house, there is a pretty decent chance that multiple of them will play video games as they are one of the most popular method of entertainment, to ban everyone from a similar IP makes less than no sense.
This means that most likely they are banning 3.2 innocent people for every single cheater, they are probably banning people that have never even played, thats retarded.
Its as stupid as banning everyone with the same name in game.
My name in real life is Stephen im very sure that someone with that same name has comitted murder, so does that mean they should lock me up aswell, i mean i share the same name it might have been me, theres no evidence for it.
You all need to take a good long and hard look inside your minds, you will see how stupid you all truly are.
A system that bans based on display pictures, similar names and IP's is not sound, you will ban people who haven't cheated more often than ones that have, its a mathematical certainty, if any of you cant see the stupidity in this then please stop posting on this thread, stop using the internet and go back to the basics of thinking because you are way in over your head in any slightly complex or intelligent conversation.
With all of the information at your fingertips in this generation you have no excuse to be stupid but here you all are, with your lack of critical thinking and your lack of understanding of how basic systems for finding evidence to prevent false positives can and cant work.
Its miraculous the steps forward humanity is taking when people like you are this common, seriously the average adult in this day and age is as dumb as a brick, you are basically door stops that eat, you have all the mental agility of a rabbit dropping.
I done with all of you, go back to licking windows, mashing keys and thinking you have a point, and good luck getting that ice cream machine at McDonald's to work because lets be honest with your brains you wont get any further.
