Idea: Night Mode for microwaves
Instead of having to wait until the clock hits 00:01 like a counter terrorist ninja defusing a bomb so your family won’t wake up to it, what if you could set your microwave to a night mode, which either softens the beep significantly or removes it all together?

You mean like the "mute" feature of most half-decent microwave ovens manufactured now?

Still upset that people didn't listen to this guy, he makes good points

Every microwave should have a playable version of doom installed and setup so when I'm making my spaghetti oops I've goto complete a level before the timer goes off or else it'll over cook them.

Just cancelling the heating process a second before. Losing few seconds in my opinion dont really counts.
Just open it up, cut a wire of your choice that’s connected to the speaker, connect the two halves of the wire to opposite ends of a switch, reassemble everything and now you have a silent mode

Just make sure to cover your crotch with lead
how about eating food cold?

I wish there was a night/soft mode for the noisy neighbors. Folks with hearing aids got it made: mute out everything with a touch.

I just stop it a couple seconds before it is done myself.

Not really too difficult honestly.
No, on the contrary, it needs real speaker. Preferably PA speakers.. ohh gotta love the reaction.

Now my entire house is gone

Eating a cream based soup (which somewhat solidifies) cold isn’t really a fun time to be had
