Windows XP is the best OS?
Most tech still running on it to this day. Even modern tech is made specifically to the Windows XP. It's still quite popular OS in many countries as well. Not to mention a lot of people are still making new updates to it despite it being abandoned by Microsoft and "no longer supported" by them.

But I'd say Windows 7 is good too.

There is literally no reason when using 10 not to update so forced updates isn't an issue, and 10s updater is more stable than 7s was, and the "spying" everyone refers to is harmless, it is literally incorporated into anything that is connected to the Internet now, and you can just switch it off so that's Windows 7 user complaints pretty much cleared up
How about to avoid all the additional telemetry updates, and how about when windows decides it's time to update right when you're working on a long task such as rendering a video, as in the famous video of a guy raging at it, or how about when it's an update that breaks your system? Again, I've not had any problem updating when I want on 7, and the updater seems perfectly stable. And now you're defending the spying by calling it "harmless", which is an attitude I entirely disagree with since I do value any scrap of privacy I can scrounge up. And you can still go back to the part where I listed my other complaints that you're still refusing to address.
There have been no windows 10 updates that have broken the system, I'm not defending the spying I'm saying that it is harmless, which it is, the choice to disable it is there, there are lots of settings for the updater like when to scan and when to install them, so that's just bad management from the guy in the video, I'd suggest looking at this rather than just repeating problems you have that I did address in previous posts, https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.techadvisor.co.uk/review/operating-systems-software/windows-7-vs-window-10-comparison-review-3617974/%3famp

Mind posting that link without the extra google spying stuff? And look at the link I posted for an example of a broken update deleting all of the user's data.

And you can look at this too, that update never affected me so I'm skeptical it's a paid review https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/daveywinder/2019/05/06/microsoft-has-some-bad-news-for-windows-10-haters/amp/

And this https://securityboulevard.com/2019/04/still-have-windows-7-32-security-reasons-to-move-to-windows-10/

I'm not going to click on anything until you take google out of the url. Mind telling me why win10 forced out an update that erased data and user profiles on such a scale that it led them to halt an update's release for the first time in windows history?

You might want to read this too, I'll also fetch a list of problematic updates that were on 7 https://securityboulevard.com/2019/04/still-have-windows-7-32-security-reasons-to-move-to-windows-10/

I read it and it says nothing of the sort, only that 7 has more updates, to which I say no ♥♥♥♥, it's far older. The security stuff is quite interesting, actually, and a good point, although it's still not worth the effort of upgrading and then dealing with the massive amount of configuration when I've never gotten malware on win7.

The burden of proof is on the person making the claim, not the person who is skeptical of it.
I've given my proof on exclusives on 10 and that telemetry is on 7,8 and 10 and can be disabled if the need is crucial, I've given proof for every point I have made yet no 7 user has given me any proof that 7 being the more vulnerable and less stable os is better than 10, until that happens I will remain subbed to this thread, while streaming some dark souls, in the hope that someone will make an actual valid point for 7
All you said was that Win10 exclusives had good reviews and said nothing about older games. This isn't about privacy or stability.

I know I did, I felt that looking for older games that don't work on 10 but on 7 was a waste of my time, but if you want to provide a list of such games then feel free, I can also run my xbox games on my pc, and I listed proof of other points that I made from previous posts, that's why I mentioned privacy and stability

I'm not trying to convince you to upgrade, merely that 10 is more secure than 7, since you value your privacy highly

From the outside perhaps, but from the os itself spying on you, no, it has far more capability than 7 in that regard. But again, I haven't had a single issue with 7's security.
if the telemetry us harnless why arent we allowed to see a log of what is sent out and click yes or no to send

If you can see it, other people may be able to see it too, which you might not want
by clicking yes it gets encoded and sent

Other people may see it, people that shouldn't be on your system or malware looking for that specific data, that's why it's encoded
msdos 6.2 is the best OS and none of you can convice me otherwise.
