Jeez, never again.
Likewise.
the thing almost felt like a surrealist art-film in the sense that it juxtaposed a really over-the-top story/setting, and freakish supernatural-elements, with the general banter & more mundane interpersonal conflicts of whom are otherwise just Average Joes. a lot of people go to a blockbuster movie with certain expectations re. action bits & plot-elements, especially when it comes to horror or sci-fi, and might get put-off by films that strive to be more artistically-credible or obscure. that doesn't mean that said film is bad, or even that the person making that critique is wrong, because it's all objective.
a lot of good films didn't do well in the box-office. children of men & blade runner are two others that are, if nothing else, good movies that contributed a lot to both their respective genres & the movie industry at large. reviewer culture & dumb hiveminders have a part to play in dragging otherwise good films down.
It offers no information and it has no purpose, other then just being something they want you to click on, so they can send you ads, or make you spam it.
They will say anything they're getting paid for, as long as it gets you to click on the video.
You must also like, share, and dig their content, and follow them on multiple different platforms, and I don't know what more they want you to do for them. Spam it I guess.
I for one, am not going to waste time on this.
LIKE-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥-WISE.
That version of the movie happens to be frequently mentioned as a particularly excellent film.
