Just a weird question.
Does anyone else feel a really weird compulsive need to close doors behind them in horror games? Whenever I don't I feel really exposed and freaked out. I just wanna know if that's something that happens to other people, or if it's just me.

Just you.
I've got a hang towards destroying every destructible object.

Most games don't even have doors that could be closed.

Other than that, if games have doors that can be opened and closed at will, there's probably gameplay value to it. Like, for example, you'll be less likely to be spotted from outside the room with the door closed.

I do that because of games like dayz, pubg and scum. Doesn't give away your presence like that and gives ambush opportunities.

Only if i knew it would slow something down otherwise i couldnt care.
Nope. I leave them open so I know where I've been and closed doors show me where I still need to have a look around

In any game, really.
If it has openable and closable areas I will need them all closed and tight and clean lol
