Twitch - smoking while streaming against the rules?

i had a discussion with a friend about streams and he said smoking while streaming is against the rules, im talking about normal cigarettes not about drugs.
anyways i know a streamer who smokes sometimes in the stream and this guy is streaming for a long time now, and he never got banned.

so do you get banned for that or not?

I've heard of a few streamers that have smoked on stream before; according to TOS, you must comply with your local laws. So, if your area allows it it's fine. But imo you should smoke off camera. Is there a reason you absolutely must smoke on stream?

You may get suspended twitch are very strict about it they can even ban if you show a gun during a livestream

I'd not ban them, but I would advise them to stop that.

Okay. If you do end up streaming and smoking however, be cautious.

It's probably more a Partnership thing then a community guidelines thing.... I see nothing about it in it's community guidelines....

You can smoke or vape on Twitch, but it's not appreciated.

You can even smoke weed (420) on Twitch, but only if it's legal in your country. This goes back to ToS rule, which states that breaking the law is not permitted.

yeah sure, big streamers should be a rolemodel for the kids.. there is alot kids watching nowadays.
