Can't stand those. I don't give a rat's arse about the person playing the game
Face cams are pointless but I couldn't stand to watch pure gameplay with no commentary, that would be tedious in the extreme.
We can just go to some other streamer who beat a whole game in a 1 hour video over wait two weeks to see 14 of your ten minute videos. Looking at you markiplier and your Fnaf VR series.
Also when youtubers call others greedy and corrupt, but are always begging for donations like 5 minutes into their videos, specially you tim pool.
Or the tech youtubers that insert like 2-3 personal ads into their videos and even write the script to lead into the Ads...cough linus tech tips cough and others. You guys are why I no longer watch most tech youtubers anymore.
Youtubers that put the video head topic in the middle and end of their videos. Because I'm not watching it dude, I'm just loading the comments. When the highest rated comment under all your videos is a time stamp one, you know your being manipulative and annoying, just stop it already Spawn wave.
and each person has their own speed, skill and voice
you could watch one lets player who has a great voice
but might find another with a annoying voice and bad commentary and are in a different part of the game
the videos are done but we have to wait weeks for it. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ what?
No commentary channels are a rarity these days, sadly.
Making two minute videos about a trick done in 5 seconds...
You know the ones, stuff like "Secret last boss, and coolest weapon" with a large picture of said stuff. It's even worse for me as I dislike knowing almost anything of a game before hand. I can even go so far as feeling like I've been spoiled when I know that a game has a particular gun or even character skills.
You can guess how fun it is for me to watch reviews before trying games. :P
Another thing I dislike is something that other people were doing to their music, that is, to put the name of the song before the band name. And in the case of Youtube, putting some spoilery name before the gameplay video serie making it even harder to know which part I'm watching.
I also find it weird when people start their video with something like "please like and subscribe" when I don't even know if I'll even enjoy OR want to watch more of this person.
Ever since I heard that Youtube videos that are around 10 minutes are "better" for some reason, I can't stop thinking about it whenever I see a video that is 10 minutes or so.
I used to watch a lot of gaming youtubers years ago but I stopped when it started to feel like they were rushing the game. It became harder and harder to enjoy it as it felt like they were constantly trying to skip as much as possible and even going as far as, probably, looking up online how to beat a level or doing a puzzle BEFORE they even tried once. As if they are scared of what might happen if nothing new happens every single minute.
Another reason why I stopped watching them was that people in the comment section was spoiling so much constantly. Making it so the one who played whatever the game was knew stuff before hand.
Ohh and how the people playing the game starts making comments about something which has nothing to do with the game itself. Like how they will be away for X days and the like. I don't see how thats a good thing for any other time frame than the day the video is uploaded.
Lastly, making videos for Youtube is a job but I don't believe it's a hard job, might be a stressful job but not a hard job, but that's just how I feel about it. :P
