What do you think Steam's mission, vision and strategy is?

So I have to create something for college and I can either make up something myself or see what others think. I couldn't find any official pages stating their mission, vision and strategy, so now I'm wondering what other's think.

Steam is a very healthy business, provides games for great prices with regular yearly deals and events, since they take a cut from each game sold they make amazing profits with little to no effort. Their mission will continue as it is, provide us with a decent gaming platform and service and they make a killing from profits. Everybody is happy.

What is with all these fly by night gaming colleges? I can’t imagine a degree based on a forum dissertation would be worth anything to anyone.

Apart from jigging around with features, a as yet reduction in sale opportunity badge levelling up and making the submitting of personal data mandatory for any purchase, i cant see that they have done alot this year.

Its a hard year what with the pandemic for businesses and perhaps the reason behind steams quite existence this past year.
