The tooth should be coming out naturally and relatively painless then requiring removal when it’s rather loose.
If it’s that painful at this point it could be an infection or a cut/tear from the tooth within the gums.
Edit: Then again it might just be kids being kids. Just don’t door-tie it. It doesn’t always work like in the movies.
They'll be able to get the tooth out quick and painless. Doing it yourself? Easy way to put yourself in a world of pain. Not to mention you'll still need to go to the dentist to have your gumline sewn up to prevent blood loss, infection, or dry socket.
Dentist, numbing agent, prescript pills, jello, pudding, ice cream for days...
Win win
Might work for milk tooth. For regular one with roots there is no painless method.
For single-root it is grabbed with something like thongs and twisted/pulled. Obviously not pleasant. :-o Eventually it will break somewhere, if done by noob probably leaving much of the root around. To cause all kinds of problems and later be removed by dentist or surgeon. So why not start right there.
For multi-rooted teeth most dentists start with a XR picture then decide it is better passed on to surgeon. Who will saw it into several pieces and extract those or something akin, as the roots tend to twist in a way straight pull is hopeless.
I had an infected, erupted tooth and it was pulled. Well, twisted and pulled to be more accurate - the dentist didn't have enough arm strength to pull my tooth straight out.
otherwise if it's just a tiny bit loose you just leave it in and rub orajel all over yourself
What will they come up with next? Some sort of doctor for eyes?
Have a friend hit you in the face with a sledge-hammer, after you pass out from heavy drinking?
