The man with no fear and no shame of taking some of the worst acting jobs ever to pay off his insane spending sprees.

Some of these films are not good. some of these films are iconic in just how over-the-top and strange they are.

so let's talk about the films that you think about when you think about Nicolas Cage. What is the one film that defines this actor's career.

I already know my thoughts.

It is drive angry. There is not a single sane moment in this film. You throw in William fichtner as not quite an antagonist, and you get to great character actors chewing the scenery and just being amazing

Has nobody mentioned Snake Eyes yet? I know it doesn't have the best reviews but I really like it. A typical Brian De Palma movie.

Snake Eyes is pretty good forgotten Cage movie.
I remember a lot of the movie was filmed in really long unbroken takes, it was impressive.

I think I should have my Nicolas Cage fan card taken away for not remembering Raising Arizona. Nick Cage, Holly Hunter, John Goodman, a bunch of babies, and the biker from hell.

That should be a required viewing movie.

This is making me want to watch Firebirds.

If we're being honest I really enjoyed Gone In 60 Seconds as a kid, I had it on VHS.

Oh yeah. VHS. Be kind, rewind B*itch.

That being said I'm surprised I'm not sure this entire thread isn't just one big wickerman meme.

I did as well. That and the fast and furious had all the kids into cars.
