Wierd and wonderful creatures

What's some crazy creature you have encountered in your life and assumed it couldn't be possibly real?!?!!!

When I was like 10, I was at the beach playing around on the rocks. This baby octopus got on my arm. Those things are like aliens from another world, semi-transparent and crawl around oddly. Probably one of the most freaky creatures I've personally encountered so far.

My cousin has a pet 'Archerfish' which is pretty cool. It ate/killed all the other fishies in the tank, later finding out they tend to be very carnivorous. Then will only eat if he puts bugs/flies in it's tank, which it will process to shoot down into the water by itself.

If you ever walk up to it's tank and stare, the fish will come up to the surface and look so cute... then shoot water in your face! They have some serious targeting skill.

Absolutely love them. They’re literally the fastest eaters too. Earthworms can get gobbled up in a fraction of a second.

Oh yeah Axolotls! Cousin also has one of them named 'jellybean'. He keeps it in a certain evolution stage (pink), but I heard they can be quite like a pokemon and evolve into something else (Salamander)?

One of the best examples of the "devolution" theory, which I strongly believe in, considering some consider we where monkeys with tails and climbing around in the safety of the trees, then one day thought it would be a good idea to lose all that, becoming land targets with no natural defense. Ahhh "devolution" logic!
