Good indie survival horror games with combat

Was very impressed with the Bendy game and now I want more. I see the action tag in a lot of the indie ones but when I check the gameplay, it is usually the hiding/running away variety. I don't mind playing them every now and then but at some point I just want to take the fight to the monsters
