Recommend me metal music like these bands
So I listen to lots of metal, and I know what I like and what I don't and I want to discover new (or old but new to me) bands.

My favourite bands are savatage, Judas priest, megadeth, symphony x, nightwish, pantera, bls, Scorpions, Annihilator.

Specifically I'm looking for more melodic/symphonic/progressive type of metal, maybe thrash if it's more melodic like Annihilator. But also not too progressive (like dream theater while extremely talented is just too much at times for me)

I like good clean vocals, or vocals that fit the music but are understandable (I like old pantera vocals but didn't like late pantera vocals for example, or Annihilator or megadeth while not good singers at least fit their music). My favourite vocals are like Rob halford of Judas priest or Russel Allen from symphony x and Jon Oliva from savatage.

Floor Jansen of nightwish is one of my all time favourite singers because she can go from operatic to metal style.

Guitar work means a lot to me, but it doesn't have to be the focal point. I also appreciate well played keyboards and off beat style drumming.

Here's example of songs I really like :

https://youtu.be/ztxLp_r4KMk

https://youtu.be/PW_Gizv8Lh8

Any help for similar music would be appreciated.

Eluveitie

Obv. gotta recommend Sabaton and Powerwolf too but that's more power metal (not as symphonic, but still clear vocals).

I've heard of eluveitie, but haven't listened to them. I'll check them out, thanks.

I discovered sabaton when I went to see revamp (floor Jansen band) with iced earth and they quickly became a favourite. Ended up seeing them 3 times in less than a year after that. I'll look up powerwolf. I like some power metal if it's not too over the top

Except scorpions the list looks like "past masters"... check out Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Dio, King Crimson, AC/DC, Metallica. (not necessarily "metal" just like your list, but not the labels count )

Some suggestions which could suit you:

Luca Turilli - Legend Of Steel
Axel Rudi Pell - The Masquerade Ball
Epica - Last Crusade

(I think they are scratching on the edge of the styles you are searching for, but maybe you will love one of those :D )

The Gothenburg Death Metal scene from Sweden has some great melodic and even progressive elements in their music, although as the name suggests, it's death metal.
DragonForce
Kamelot
Sentenced
Fear Factory
Tool
Static X
White Zombie

The newest albums of Kreator are Thrash metal but more melodic, like their album Phantom antichrist with it's title song and Dead to the world, Manilla Road is old heavy metal. And you might like this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1PST7Z5b1rc It's melodic just like Children of bodom(Sinergy is Alexi Laiho's old band) but you may have to get used Alexi's vocals wich are sometimes hard to understand.
