Is mayo on fries something normal in where you live?

One day I was watching Pulp Fiction, and there was a scene that went like this:

It's pretty normal to eat fries with mayo in here. In almost every resraurant I've been to that sells fries, they give you a packet of ketchup and mayonnaise with them. So it's normal up in here.

It's a lot more normal today than it was when Pulp Fiction came out.

I'm a big fan! But not Helman's or something, it's got to be nice stuff, preferably with garlic...mmm.

I had buddies who'd mix mayo with A1 Steak Sauce...that was yummy too.

Do you know in America they have fries-dip? I mean that's crazy, right? (Also before they ... off me, yes they have mayo too, they're normal people, okay?)
