Tall and thin is a common stereotype for models...

It comes down to an illusion assumption of being better looking. However, it's more to do with the fact they are more visible on the runway and all designers use the same parameters so the models must be able to fit every dress. So it stuck that way... for most.

They're supposed to take a lot of presence on the stage. Tall people take more of that away from shorter people. It's the simple truth.

It's like the evolution of the future where everyone will have perfect genes and accordingly will look like this, ideal... example which is now rather then later.

I don't know I admire beauty but would find it strange if everyone was so.

Well... just imagine a short woman wearing a maxi dress. Longer legs and a longer torso mean people can see more of the clothing’s details appropriately.
