Do you uninstall games?
Once you have finished the story?

For the most part. Most of my games like Wolfenstein, DOOM, Call of Duty franchise (unless the co-op modes that aren't standalone installations require the main game to be kept installed), Blood, Devil May Cry, Alan Wake, LEGO games, Mafia trilogy, Serious Sam, Half-Life, and Portal.

Max Payne, which is my favorite game, I didn't uninstall because to this day people make mods for the game, and I like to test them out and play through them to the end of the game. Besides, the original story never gets old, so the replay is perfect.

Rouge-like, like The Binding of Isaac I still have it installed because it's another one of my favorite games, and while it has huge replays and a lot of achievements, as well as challenges, daily challenges (not that I touch), and basically having to complete the game multiple times with all the available characters. On top of that, there's the (supposedly huge) upcoming and final DLC for the game and you still have the Workshop to check out some mods that are almost total-conversion.

Usually not, but that's mostly because disks have plenty of space these days. And I can still start it up to check something.

Depends how likely I am to replay the game.

This is one of those things I do to knock off games on the wishlist. Especially story based games like Quantum Break.

I also play multiple story based choice games one time and I live with my choices. I did one play through of Mass Effect 1-3 and I was happy with how it all turned out

Nope, only when I get my money back for the game when I return it...

Edit: Oh... also when I stop liking a game.. if I don't want to play it anymore it's gone.

Yep, I don't see a reason to leave a game installed if I have nothing left to do in it, or if it doesn't have a mod community that offers some kind of replay value. Just leaving these games installed is a waste of space that could be used for other games that hasn't even been played yet.

Also some old games can be condensed in size by using .bat files to run them in a single install of DOSBox, or using a source port + manager/loader. For example the classic Doom Engine games sold on Steam each has it's own install of DOSBox. Thus meaning you are installing DOSBox 7 times. Where the alternative of using ZDL + GZDoom uses much less space, and only needs the IWADS of those games to run. Sure these old games don't use much space to start with. However when you start looking at the number of old games using DOSBox it start to add up on the space usage real quick.

I've been doing so lately. Not really going for replayability of most games, not even trying to 100% achievements. Once I'm done with the story, I'm done with the game, exceptions are pretty few.

Same with me. I stopped caring about achievements last gen with 360 once I hit 100,000 gamer score without easy games. It all really was a waste of time and not worth the trouble.

I couldn’t imagine doing that on Steam cause I have so many games anyway. Best to complete them, uninstall to free space, then continue with other games.

I will leave a few installed, which I might come back to... but quite commonly will uninstall when completed/finished with the game. It's basic clean up, free drive space, plus they won't keep updating themselves redundantly wasting bandwidth and time.

Not with my 4 TB SSD. Why should I?

I am starting to do that across all seven clients and six systems. Limit the number of installs to a few on each one. I really had overchoice overload this past week.

Precisely why I do this. It’s not just to free up space, but to avoid choice overload and to make games last longer.

I get a game on sale and then I’ll play it later as if I had just bought it then. It gives me that old feeling of buying a game from a store and playing it for the first time
