Battle takes place in 7 states in america (thus the whole indians trying to get them off their land) that all are next/close enough to each other that it's a fair fight and no one is closer to another enemy or has an upper hand (in other words each group occupies 1 state and 1 middle state where it's basically no man's land and they can cross without being inside the enemy's territory). They can get attacked/flanked by either side.
Prep time: 3 days (to set traps, make or modify their weapons/strategies, and find intel on the enemies.
Resources: unlimited for weapon making and traps but limited by how many men they have.
Goal: Death match last group standing wins (no matter how many they have so say if 100 romans survive but 1 indian is left alive then they gotta kill that one to assume victory).
Rules:
-they can't form alliances with other groups (mostly b/c the language barrier)
-weapons limited to what they had at the time
-They can cross into each other's territory to attack or let them come to them
-They cannot steal the enemy's weaponary but they can break it down to repair/make their own weaponary
-for all intentive purposes They have 1 leader/general/commander/chief/king who makes all the decisions.
-they can setup defenses but not a fort or building (basically make camps).
-biological/chemical warfare is allowed (poisons, diseases, etc. limited to what was available at the time).
-same with medicinal treatments (though for all of them it's basically a death sentence lol).
-no outside help or reienforcements.
-animals and other insects are present.
-sea travel/ambushes are allowed too (none of the states though are directly next to an ocean), but they cannot use sea or air based weaponary.
