*downloads Origins*
I have 5 games on GOG that are retro and free or very cheap there. I have 7 games on Uplay, only because they were bought as keys from Fanatical or Humble Bundle.
Nothing else interests me. I tried Origins once and hated it. Uplay is good for Ubisoft games of course, and GOG is great only if you have an extensive library there. I couldn’t start from scratch again. I’ve got tons invested in Steam
Read my thread. Can’t even buy games from them.
But considering that physical media seems to be a forgotten art form in the PC gaming world, and that GoG would probably go under long before Steam does, I think I would just quit modern PC gaming altogether.
Maybe EGS, if they do a 180, and actually become a decent storefront by then. However, even that seems very unlikely.
I mean if Steam does go down someday which is likely not going to happen anytime soon.
