Is it bad that I look back on that song, and most of Crush 40's other Sonic The Hedgehog songs, with nostalgia. They sounded so good when I was a kid.

In my opinion though, most of Linkin Park's (RIP Chester), and Three-Days-Grace songs are pretty edgy. TDG more so than Linkin Park IMO, most of their songs are just so angsty and edgy. They sound alright, but the edge is there.

It's not the nostalgia, songs are legitimately good. And why would it be bad to listen to them, enjoy whatever you want.

Nothing wrong for enjoying edgy content. In fact, nowadays everything is either so lighthearted or "tryhard sad" that seeing something edgy is a breath of fresh air.
