Does Valve/Steam have any actual rules against NSFW sprays?
Does Valve have any rules in their TOS or something that say anything about NSFW sprays? I've never seen any official rules against them. If you find any, please give a source.

It's literally to the right of this page and below the search bar: Discussions Rules and Guidelines.

Content Rules
Do not post any content on Steam containing the following:

Porn, inappropriate or offensive content, warez or leaked content or anything else not safe for work

Anyone with some semblance of decency and manners would automatically assume those rules apply in any scenario and wouldn't have to ask such a question.
Why would there be a restriction to sprays? Btw there is no restriction, unless if you turn off sprays in settings.

I think he meant "in-game"
Valve doesn't care, look at all those Objectors as example with Anime tiddies, Furry porn or Swastikas. Same can be said for Sprays, noone really cares.
No, but in some community servers there are rules against NSFW sprays.
Do they even check or verify game reports or it's automatic report system?

i'm sure they do, but other than removing sprays entirely or going the cs:go route (ew) there's nothing they can do about them

Sprays are disabled in Valve servers anyway (thank god), so the only place OP can showcase his smut are in community servers. Mileage may vary between servers.

Most people won't care but don't be surprised if you get kicked for it often.

No one ever cares for those rules on TF2.

Sprays like that are not uncommom and nothing ever happens to anyone who does that.
As much as I despise those disgusting sprays, I do find it funny to do this lol.
