Do you find RGB lights annoying?

I personally dislike RGB, it gets very distracting when i'm playing games or watching videos. Since my PC is ontop of my desk on the right side of my monitor, my right eye burns like crazy forcing me to cover it with a towel.

At first I thought RGB made my computer really awesome looking but now I am totally regretting that decision. Same goes for my keyboard and mouse.

I have epilepsy. so, rgb keyboard will easily make me seizure. I prefer keyboard without light

I yanked the RGB strips out of my one case. I can't stand that garbage or all the glass panel cases out there these days. Metal box, green motherboard with no frills, green memory with no frills, simple heatsinks/fans with no frills, and all the components top end with no RGB unicorn rainbow vomit attached. Used to be this was easy to find, now a days not so much.

I do however like useful and tasteful lighting effects like the BIOS indicator that shows codes, drive activity lighting, illuminated functional buttons on components like a start/reset button on the motherboard. That stuff I really like because it's functional unlike 99% of the LEDs tacked on to strips, heatsinks, etc that cycle through colors.

No I don't like the argument of "just turn it off" and find it unacceptable because it throws away my choice of not having it at all on the components I want to use. I do not need extra fluff on components that I want to just work and not be gaudy displays of frivolity. Gaming without the garbage lights/displays is what I like.

I have many RGB lights. 6 case fans, case lights, cpu fan, keyboard, mouse and rear monitor lights. I set all case fans with rainbow wave. I guess that I like lights.

I realise now that it might cause some people to have a meltdown

Yes. Turned off all of em. Case, CpU cooler, Keybaord and mice. Cause I play CSGO at late night with light off and it bothers me. When I am fully concentrated for win the RGB lights has no usage but make things kinda irritating..

i don't hate rgb

i hate that every consumer pc part has to be "KILLERGAMINGRGBMORTARASSASSINDELUXE" or "ACEFIGHTERTOMAHAWKGAMINGRGBULTIMATE", with the only other options being either ultra budget stuff that doesn't fit my needs, or it's something that costs more than the cpu i'll use with it

Cool for the 10 seconds when you look at the RGB computer, if you have it on day to day stuff it's annoying

A solid cold white, dimmable ceiling light is everything what one needs... or darkness because the screen(s) itself spend enough light too.

I like the RGB lights under my keyboard keys. Looks really good and I'm not looking directly at my keyboard. My computer has a dark tinted side panel and my new GPU has really pretty RGB lights but they don't distract me. If I didn't have dark glass maybe it would be too bright and I could turn them off. I also have my computer setup on the floor next to me but I'm thinking of getting another smaller desk or file cabinet next to me with the computer on top of it.

Bar the graphics card, I don't have RGB lighting in my case, I prefer UV.
