That said, its a very destructive lifestyle and most of my original friends are dead from some form of substance abuse or another so they ended up truly being "Death Metal" to the bone.

I also like Yuzukingdom. I think their kind of music is described as trance metal. It's the first band I listened to which I liked the combination of the death growls and melodic singing, and also one of the first bands I didn't dislike the growling. I used to not like death vocals until I heard some music that I could feel the power or emotion.

Although I would like to listen to instrumental versions of these songs without the screaming. I guess it's part of the charm but I prefer to focus on the instruments instead of the singing. Can't really understand much of the lyrics anyway.
