fps game is boring nowaday?
when I was kid, I like play fps game like half life, cs, Duke nukem, doom, call of duty, etc

now fps game feel same like before. non variety in gameplay. everything is about shoot, kill, repeat. same weapon. To keep game company alive, they put battle Royale and ton of fancy micro transaction.

sorry to say, but Nintendo was a great game company because, look how they make game. even they use Mario since 1987 or idk what date is it, they keep changing Mario. from jumping plumber into plumber builder. Nintendo know how to make use to not keep boring. Nintendo idea is original

All of this fps game company should learn from Nintendo

as the genre states *fps* first person shooter, you shoot ♥♥♥♥, it does, it respawns, you shoot it again and it dies over and over
if you dont like it theres stuff like mmo, fantasy other bs, but shooters are based on killing stuff over and over again, thats the fun of it

well other than implementing cool new guns skins and new *shooter* gamemodes
there's games like gta where youre free and you can shoot stuff and do whatever the hell you want
and theres games like call of duty where you have a set campaign and a multiplayer where you go ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with guns
Well tend to go with FPS that have a strong melee option. I also tend go for fantastical or future setting so I get to mess around with abilities and powers.

My FPS are not boring.

Perhaps your tastes have changed. I find fewer FPS games to be enjoyable, but the newer Doom and Wolfensteins i really liked. As well as Red Orcestra 2 and Rising Storm 2

You could just play something else? Or is that too extreme?

There are innovative and interesting fps games out there, you just need to search for them. I can recommend fear or titanfall 2 or if youre into mmos destiny 2. Also I would highly recommend the halo collection once it releases on pc. And immortal redneck if you like roguelikes.

Well, Nintendo has always been an innovator in the industry. It's done its fair share of imitation, too, but it still has a comparably high track record of coming up with new and fresh ideas that others would have to imitate and try to improve on, with varying results. It's not like everyone can just do that, too. But it still happens sometimes, and there's been some fresh ideas that show up occasionally, both in first-person games, in general, and first-person shooters, specifically. Um, there's things like Portal and it's focus on puzzles more than combat, there's the Shock (system and bio) and Dishonored franchises and their incorporation of rpg elements, there's Mirror's Edge including parkour-like movement and platforming, and mixing combat and running away. Lol, I'm not really big into fps games, I don't play too many of them, but I'm still aware of a few of the (more well-known) innovative ones.

don't play your cods and battlefields. play indie fps games.

lot of innovation in the realistic fps scene. while games like ww3 try their shot at arcade.
It really depends on what games you're playing. If the games go for a more realistic feel, then yes they are going to tend to share similar weapons. There are a ton of really interesting games with really interesting and unique weapons, but you really have to stay off the beaten path, and check out something different.

So Activision should make some Call of Duty Minecraft hybrid, or what? Or they could just copy Fortnite, that one has shooting and building in it if I'm not mistaken?

I stopped playing FPS games about 10+ years ago. While I got older, I more and more realised that I simply didn't enjoy the gameplay. Or the First person stuff. My preferences changed.
Might be the same with you.
