Most Burger Kings around here are within walking distance to Taco Bell. Where I would normally go if I wanted a quick taco.

I just wish Mexican food would go back to being cheap. $10 for a burrito is an abomination brought on by gentrification.

I used to buy a $3 Carne Asada after the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode ended, like God intended.

When KFC did the double down, I went to my local KFC. The employee was a guy I got fired from the supermarket (He would hide in the cooler and mess around on his phone.) I was doing most of his work, so I reported him, and they fired him.

He was too stupid to realize I did that, and greeted me as a friend. Most of the clientele at the KFC appeared to have days to live. Grey pallor, misshapen people, they were like the clientele in spongebob.

But I figured, I'm only eating one ever, why not? So I got the double down. It was gross, and certainly warned me off becoming a regular KFC customer.

From my vague recollection, they had two pieces of boneless chicken as the "bread" and some microwaved bacon, in a vaguely thousand island/bbq sauce mix.

I dig the stunt foods. I don't eat at JackBox much, but I did try the bonus burger. It was greasy. I never got the munchie meal or whatever they call it because if you order it before 10PM they want like nine dollars for it. LAME.


The Carne Asada Burrito was from a local place in my old neighborhood. I believe it's still there, Juanita's taco shop, in Leucadia, CA. I doubt they offer 1998 pricing at this point. :)

One way I avoid artery clogs is that I limit myself to one fast food meal a month. For July, I'm thinkin' Pizza.

Funny, I always think the el pollo loco commercial food looks gross, when it is so easy to make Mexican food look amazing.

No chain will ever be as good as an authentic Mexican food restaurant.
