Is Netflix overrated?

Way too many bad movies, and horror, martial arts and fantasy genres are severely lacking. Almost all horror movies are just plain bad, martial arts movies are barely there, sure it has couple of good ones like the raid 2, there isnt even Jackie Chn movies for ♥♥♥♥♥ sake. Fantasy is even worse. Without few Marvel movies, and lotr trilogy its almost nonexistant.

Pretty much all movies we got are very generic, its missing tons of original stuff. Its best for people who watches tv shows though, but some series are missing either couple of the latest seasons, or first ones.

Im considering dropping Netflix. Been subbing for years, but it hasnt changed for better.

Yeah, not many Korean or Chinese films.

Amazon Prime is better.

I have Amazon Prime and Now TV Entertainment.

I wouldn't call it overrated, but I can say that it does get boring after using it for a good number of years. More so when the newer content that gets added isn't something you really care about. Personally I got sick of the price increases, and finally canceled my subscription.

Now I use Tubi to watch movies, and shows as it has more things that I've found enjoyable. They tend to have more classics, and underrated hidden gems. Plus Tubi is free, but it does have ads. On the plus side the ads are actually volume leveled to not be louder than the content that you are watching, and they don't go overboard with the number of ads that get played.

It's pretty decent. Hulu has more shows I'm interested in though.

I really didn't like it. Plot didn't go anywhere, and it had that same zero-budget flash animation art style and two-frames-per-second animation that all the children's shows now have. Completely sterile looking. Hell, they didn't even bother with proper perspective, shading or facial animations. If it was a show aimed at children, then maybe. But it's not. Animation has gone down the drain the past ten years. In the 90s good animation looked like this:

You can't compare movies with TV shows.

But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that Spider-Man looks bad.
