Alpha RWD vs Beta FWD
Which do you prefer when it comes to driving cars ? The original and superior rear wheel drive system or the later and inferior front wheel drive system ? I myself prefer RWD and so do many other respectable drivers. Traction control off and you are good to go, no one is holding your hand. Just wanted to ask what kind of cars do people on off-topic drive ? Thanks

For a purely sports car I would want to try rwd but for more control in different weather conditions fwd is likely better.

Audi would beg to differ.
Audi is for impotents, Subaru beats Audi's Quattro by a milestone.
So? How does that support your RWD is best as cornering and weight balance argument?
Why no 4WD/AWD option?

Because if you don't live in an area with a lot of ice and snow, there is no need for it. Gas wasted
FWD is better for countries with frequent wet weather and harsh icey winters, so I'll go with this
I'm gonna say FWD is superior to all just to spite OP.
0 wheel drive: the obviously superior choice.:emofdr:

Yes. Put a supercharged V8 Corvette engine on a pogo stick.

That's the kind of car I would like to have. A Honda Civic hatchback preferably with a manual transmission.

It's useful on dirt / mud roads as well.

One isn't better than the other. Change my mind.
*drives tiny FWD Fiat into the topic* sorry I am very bad at parking! *morphs into a beamer and becomes very good at speeding instead*
AWD>FWD>walking>RWD
*AWD, but on straight line 2WD because they are faster.

Rear wheel drive when it comes to 2 wheel drive.

I don't think it makes sense to think FWD vs. RWD. Traditionally, I'm somewhat biased towards Audi, and if it's not a quattro (aka 4WD) then it's always FWD anyway. It's not like you'd have to choose.

Do keep in mind that I don't drive racing cars or offroad cars. A quattro type car is an ordinary street car; it "sucks" offroad just as every other street car. However, Germany has a well-developed street system in place, so offroad is of no concern unless you're talking things like construction or farming vehicles.
