But I don't particularly like Minecraft. And DF is cool now and then but not for constant play.
And really time/money is rather meh as a measure, not every hour is of the same quality.
Neither do Paradox DLCs. By definition, what isn't in base game, is not "core".
I did, is a bit more clunky and some convenient features are unavailable, but no biggie.
Some people don't support either one. The fact both options are bad doesn't make one of the good.
Spend your money however you like, I'll respect how you spend your money, please respect how others, like me, spend ours.
I was gifted Cities Skylines as a Christmas present last year and during this sale purchased the only DLC I wanted at the moment, the Ebook and MP3 upgrade they tried to hide from the store page for months as they didn't want people to buy it separately.
I was just happy to get the base game gifted to me but I wanted that DLC and Paradox tried to keep me and others from getting it for months because they wanted to increase sales of the Deluxe Edition.
That's a great company you're defending....NOT!.
So far Paradox have not made that mistake, I hope that continues but if not there are plenty more games from more pro-customer publishers out there.
Paradox have their own store, anyways.
So do Ubisoft, I don't buy from them anymore.
You say Paradox DLC is fine, but it is not fine for everyone. My point was you should accept the fact everyone isn't going to see things your way.
