Ever listen to sad music just for the heck of it?
Every now and then I get one of those moods where I just listen to sad music. Maybe it's not even a sad song, it could just be something soft and beautiful sounding. That kind of thing. It makes me feel both worse and better at the same time, but it feels like I need it haha.

Just curious if others here do the same thing!

Edit: To be clear, I don't listen to sad music to intentionally feel worse, it helps more so. It's kind of like when you're angry and you punch a wall and you feel better (for some people, I don't do that lol)

Interesting replies.
what do ya think of the songs I posted?

I haven't listened to any of them honestly lol. Just got out of the shower, and I'm about to work on some other stuff. But maybe I'll check them out. Honestly I only ever listen to this kind of stuff rarely. I just made this post because I was bored and to see what others thought. I was in a mood today to listen to a few songs like that but that has passed xD

Also I saw your other post saying all the same things about your childhood and the relatives and all that a while back. Maybe you should see someone about that. Just saying..

Oh... well have a nice day then. I'll probably post them on my own thread so others can feel what I've been feeling since that feeling of my childhood ending has materialized.

To be honest.. I would not recommend that if your only intent is to "make others feel how you feel", as it could make them more hateful to you than understanding, it would look like an "attention seeking" post, even though that's not what you're looking for. I would not use the off-topic forums for that. I mean, do what you want, but that's my 2 cents.
My emotional state doesn't have a noticeable impact on my preference of music during a specific moment.

you're definitely right because I had some mixed feelings about the forums lately because I feel every stupid move I make gets me thrown into an arena with a heck ton of people going after me for that wrong move.

Welcome to the internet, where if you don't have proof that you're serious about something, you're likely gonna be a target.

The hard part for me is finding a song that is naturally sad, somber or melancholic *without* having it related to a lost-love of long-ago. “For Crying Out Loud”, “Martha”, “If Ever You’re In My Arms Again” or “I’m All out of Love” and so on.

Like a lot of things, it started on what people thought was solid, moral, even justifiable ground… and then derailed in something sinister. It kinda reminds of the aftermath of The French Revolution, The Terror, where the revolutionaries started to turn on each other. The moderates were being killed by the radicals, and the radicals were eating their own for not being radical enough. Am I the only one who is seeing the parallels?
No, not for the "heck of it"...
try this it have so a overload of emotion
