The JJBA Fandom
Listen, I love JoJo, i love the anime and i loved the Manga, but i've seen all these people talking about how bad the fandom is and that its very toxic. Not because of the memes, but because of their "Invasions" and "IS THAT A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ JOJO REFERENCE" into the comment sections of songs and videos unrelated to JoJo. I always see people hating on them, telling them the usual insults "Gay", "Weaboo" then they immediately get pummeled into oblivion by "Stoopid" and "Reatard". So, are they Toxic? Cancerous? Or are they chill and easy going? Your thoughts?

You called?

I find it entertaining to read the songs comment sections taken over by JoJo fans (after all I am a JoJo fan myself) and I think that the artist should also be happy.
I don't like Freek'n you and I never watched it on youtube, I think that the people who listen the songs do so because they appreciate them, not just because they heard those songs in JoJo.
I have bought The screen behind the mirror as a gift for a friend and I don't even like part 5 but I liked a lot this album (Gravity of love is my favourite, even better than Modern crusaders).
I can understand that somebody who don't care about JoJo find all those comments annoying maybe but what can I say... I personally like it lol :D

@gugnihr I see where you are coming from, I, myself, love bands like Queen and Pink Floyd and enjoy finding new music to listen to. The JoJo comments are a nice add on that not many people find enjoyable.

Time to put an actual reply in here:

Honestly. the community is what aided JoJo in entirety.

And for the statements on how its cancerous. Every community has its dose of harmful radiation. But it seems JoJo is more normal and mature than... Ech. Some of the stuff you'll see online.

@Hibari, Fin de los Yóma Can you give a example? I respect your opinion mind you, but what else makes the fanbase horrible besides the memes?

Probably they are annoyed because this makes it harder to find and read comments that are related to just the song itself and I can understand that this can be frustrating for people who care only about the song, but I mean it is just too fun for somebody who love JoJo ;)

@gugnihr Yeah, I can see how that would piss off a few people, but hey, you have the music, Why not enjoy it? Not everything has to turn into a flame war because they watch something you don't.

@Hibari, Fin de los Yōma I can understand not liking the memes and other stuff, but what makes people really turned off is the infestation of the "Manga readers" That spoil many huge deaths and plot points, and when they get called out for it its always the same response "WRRY THE MANGA" now that's something I can get pissed about.

As an up to date manga reader that even pisses me off despite knowing what happens.

@Rai Mamezuku Exactly, Manga readers wonder why they are the ones most hated, although the thing they crave the most is probably attention so they got what they wanted.

@Hibari, Fin de los Yōma Yeah, they are pretty common. Mostly in the bigger ones like AoT and MHA. They are all pretty much the same, Spoil a big plot point, Get yelled at, tell them to Read the Manga because its better then the Anime.
TJSlipperman Jun 29, 2019 @ 6:09am
The manga/anime series and the "Roundabout" memes it spawned were cool at first.

But following my bad falling-out with Kira Buckland (which I've still never recovered from), and how she and her inner circle are big JJBA fans, it's really poisoned my view of their fanbase... :2016skull:

@tim_the_slipperman Kira Buckland? Care to elaborate? If you dont want to that's fine, I'd just like to know what people think of the fandom.

But at least in this case it is false. The anime is as good as the original manga and I don't think anybody could ever deny this
