Either Undertale or Hollow Knight. I've logged WAY too many hours into Undertale, and enjoyed every minute of it. The story is one of the best I've seen in a while, and it's got a pretty great sense of humor. It's only real flaw is that it's pretty short. It'll probably take you about 6-8 hours to play the whole game if you know what you're doing. I'd recommend going into it as blind as possible so that you can get the full experience.

I haven't played Hollow Knight myself yet, but I've heard great things from my friends, and the gameplay I've watched seems pretty great. The art style is simply breathtaking, and the character and environment designs are eerie and beautiful. It's long and hard, but extremely fun, at least from what I've heard. I'm planning on picking it up soon, and if you enjoy difficult but fair games like Shovel Knight or Dark Souls, I'd say it's worth a shot.

I would say hollowknight, undertale was overrated at the start and unless you know literally nothing about undertale any effect the game would have on you has been ruined. Also hollowknight has more playtime and the gameplay is better.
