Any Logitech G512 users? pls help
TLDR: Any temporary fix for broken Ctrl key?

I bought this keyboard a year ago and it has some weird flaws, like broken backlights on some keys and loose keycaps. 2 months of usage and I got my left Ctrl key snapped 2 of it's pins stuck inside the switch. I'm forced to get used with it until the last 2 pins broke now. Why are these pins so fragile?
I haven't checked the warranty and there's no official Logitech store in my city to fix this damn keycap. The pins are all stuck inside the switch so I can't use the right Ctrl to 'replace' it. What do I do now? I'm thinking about hot gluing it but maybe it's a bad idea.

Well, same problem here, pal.

My left CTRL-key and ESC-key pins are broken, too. Whilst the '0' Numpad-key backlight is also 'off' (wasn't able to emit several colours).

I checked on Reddit and getting surprised that these issues are actually common. Shame on Logitech to make this Romer-G switch fail because of its fragileness.

I was about to buy this last year I think, thank god the website where I read the review mentioned that the quality of key caps was not good—they would break anytime.
Still rocking my 10 year old G105 membrane keyboard.

Will they respond if I ask for the RMA from their support email? Since I bought this keyboard from a marketplace, I'm not sure I can claim the warranty by going to one of their service centre office.

I'm somewhat partial to Logitech devices, but the G512 isn't one of theirs that I own, sorry.

How the heck this blows up lmao.

Anyway, fast forward to 2021, I permanently hot glued my CTRL key, 30% of my keys can't display either blue, green, or both, and also F8 pin was also bent for some reason earlier that year in 2019. I didn't find my warranty but even if I did, I don't think my local store (non-Logitech) will accept a fully functional keyboard with no damage but to the lighting. So ♥♥♥♥ it, I went on with life and now my keyboard is 3 years old.

I think the switches itself are amazing (mine is tactile) but I never tried a Cherry MX keys.

create a ticket and ask them
What's this 'ticket' and how can I create one? I'm new to this.

Actually, although it is annoying, but it seems that you have not secured the keycap correctly, i have faced the same issue with the pins in "F12" button and then i secured the keycaps and they are as good as new
