If your server has an active invite link posted publicly, you get these “thot bots” who join and spam links to their “naked photos”. Already banned over 5 of them over a week from one of my Steam groups’ Discord.

Some Discord servers are experiencing a quickly spreading scam link within Direct Messages (DM's) and through server chats themselves recently.

The link itself will looks like this: {HIVATKOZÁS TÖRÖLVE}https://discordgg.ga/nitro/redeem/----------
Please notice that the link itself is obviously a scam. The dashes replacing the random numbers and letters for the safety of those who want to attempt to click or check the link.

What This Scam Is

The scam takes form through someone else's account. The account it takes form of is normally someone who has already been hacked out of their account. the scam will then send a link to the account's friends, servers, etc. The problematic part of the scam is the fact that it takes form of that of the friend's name and identity. Making the recipient of the scam less likely to assume it is a scam. You are 100% safe if you do not click the link. But the account the scam is coming from has been lost, and you should remove/block them as soon as possible. The scam changes both Password and Email, therefore you can't access your account again. Please be aware, as several people have already fallen prey/victim to the scam.

Isn't discord free? And since there's no value of a discord account, what does it matter if it's stolened/hijacked. Just make a new one after scanning your pc and go on with your life.
