Looking for a mindless shooter

[ℕ𝕠𝕩𝕚𝕠𝕦𝕤]

The title says everything, I guess. Might be a FPS or TPS, that doesn't really matter. I'm just looking for a shooter where I can hold a mouse button, play and fade away into my thoughts. Nothing really strategic or story based.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, since I myself don't remember coming across a game like this.

nah. spawncamping isn't as fun. they should casually stroll along and think they have a chance at getting somewhere... when suddenly a w + m1 pyro appears. it has more of a "well that was random" comedic effect IMO. that and they actually run away or squirm. which is also funny. if you get my drift. and then i think the phlog also got nerfed heavily and doesn't heal you anymore. and you can no longer charge it up with your flaregun/detonator, either. unfortunately...

Well, I am also looking mindless shooter for myself... mouse only ,aim and shoot. Without tension, relaxing one, after stressful day. I've been looking for it for 2 days now. I've found few games so far:

Awesome stuff :D plays in browser too. (freetoplay) Nice tanks. early access... lootboxes feels rewarding (right now i dont buy the 35box pack anymore, but saving up for some new tanks, but yeah, they are nice)

can recommend. matchmaker is a bit random at the moment but the devs say they are about to fix that somehow. quite relaxing and entertaining. seen from above like gta1-2... collecting powerups, capping points.

I meant game where you shoot at something, release of stress without much tension and feel satisfaction. Most similar game to this is shooter Battlefield 1, 16 vs 16, You vs AI, and you respawn every time when die. Shame it is removed from Steam.
