what's your opinion on Trainer mods?
what the title says. for those who DON'T know what a Trainer is: it is a mod which gives multiple cheats like (depending on the game) unlimited health, unlimited ammo, super speed, no fatigue, no hunger. things like that.
i use them for one reason and one reason only: so i can enjoy games that would usually be too difficult for me. example: some survival or action story-driven games have challenges or boss battles so hard that i could never beat them. with a Trainer, i now usually do. and when i feel confident i COULD beat the next obstacle, i just turn off the cheats.

and before i get any criticism, I have Cerebral Palsy (which affects thinking skills and how quick i can react to things) so MOST action story-driven games are very difficult for me.

I used to love them, but with the bit miners and other assorted evil crap out there, I've pretty much stopped using them. I REALLY loved turning off the timer on timed missions. There will always be judgmental bullsquids out there who say "you're playing it wrong" or "ruining it" or other such crap, but their opinions are crap anyway.

Online cheaters should get a home visit from someone not nice.

I also miss the savegame editors of the past, I thing TombEdit was my first, and Lithjoe was fantastic with his GTA trainers until he got weird.

In particular, I've always loved OHK, or one hit kills. Especially in frustrating games.
It's a bad idea really.

What these hacks do are basically workarounds for bad game design. I just don't play such games anymore.
psp 2000 trainer for liberty city stories added a flying DeLorean, significantly improving the game.

psp 3000 blocked mods.
As long as they are used for singleplayer games, I do not care whether or not someone uses them.

How people choose to play their singleplayer games is nobody’s business but their own.

Personally, I don’t mind cheesing SP games at all, since I only want to play for fun, not to frustrate myself with tedium.
Have zero problems using them for single player games. Everyone should be able to play his game he feels most comfortable with. And getting frustrated with a game is rarely fun.
For games with a multiplayer component they are a big " no no" though.
