Anyone know any low spec multiplayer games?
I'm fine with any genre as long as it is a low spec game. (About Half-Life 2 level in terms of specs)

Terraria's pretty low-spec, isn't it?
tf2 and csgo probably qualify as well if you like shooters, given their age, but then you have to deal with the communities for those games

just how low-spec are we talking, though, op?

Well, for FPS's look no further than the Goldesource Half-Life games

https://store.steampowered.com/app/20/Team_Fortress_Classic/

https://store.steampowered.com/app/50/HalfLife_Opposing_Force/

https://store.steampowered.com/app/130/HalfLife_Blue_Shift/

https://store.steampowered.com/app/40/Deathmatch_Classic/

About the only local multiplayter games I know of that irreverent are fun and are here:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/217200/Worms_Armageddon/

https://store.steampowered.com/app/270910/Worms_World_Party_Remastered/

Another great FPS for today's low spec systems is Red Faction

https://store.steampowered.com/app/20530/Red_Faction/

Pair that with the Pure Faction launcher, and you have multiplayer experiences.

Team Fortress 2 :sticky:
You'll enjoy it the most, although the game is losing players. More people will be needed to fill it in. Try it out.

Any game you see on my account I am currently running without a GPU and just a Ryzen3 and still hitting good FPS. Mostly 50+ and at minimum 30+ when keeping res, textures, AA etc on high.

If you like games with pixel graphics, something like Stardew Valley would be good. It's co-op for up to 4 people, or 8 if you have the right mod(s) for it. Another good game is Star Wars Battlefront 2 (Classic, 2005), which you can play online and isn't too heavy on graphics.

Depends on the games you are talking about. I see a decent amount of people saying Team Fortress 2. But that game takes a lot of power to run for me anyways. I can play Killer Floor 2 at about 30 fps while Team Fortress 2 it is like 15 to 25 fps. And Killing Floor 2 has some great graphics even if it was set to low.

Need a good processor to process all those hats in Team Fortress 2.
